1. Is Future Edge Academy accredited?
Yes. Future Edge Academy is a Cognia-accredited private online school. Our Cognia Accreditation No. is 324511, and our accreditation certificate is linked from our Accreditation page. Future Edge Academy is also listed by the Indiana Department of Education as a non-public school.
2. What does accreditation mean for my child?
Accreditation means an independent accrediting body — in our case, Cognia — has reviewed the school against its quality standards. In general, attending an accredited school supports the recognition of a student’s coursework, transcripts, and diploma by other schools and by colleges. If you are transferring from, or planning to transfer to, another specific school or college, we recommend confirming its transfer policy with that institution as well.
3. What grades does Future Edge Academy serve?
We serve students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 (K–12).
4. What is the difference between the Online School Program and the Homeschool Program?
The Online School Program is teacher-led: students follow a structured daily schedule with live interactive classes taught by certified teachers, plus attendance tracking and academic counseling.
The Homeschool Program is parent-led: parents lead learning at home using our full K–12 curriculum, on a flexible schedule, with support from certified support teachers and academic consultations.
Both programs include progress tracking and access to STEM enrichment.
5. How much does Future Edge Academy cost?
- Online School Program: $650/month
- Homeschool Program: $200/month
- Registration fee: $100

6. Does Future Edge Academy participate in the Indiana Choice Scholarship program?
Yes. Future Edge Academy proudly participates in the Indiana Choice Scholarship program, giving Indiana families an accredited online private school option. Eligibility and award details depend on the program’s rules and on your family’s circumstances, so please contact us to check your eligibility — we will walk you through what the program may cover in your case.
7. When can my child start? Can we enroll mid-year?
Yes. Enrollment is open year-round at Future Edge Academy. Families do not have to wait for a new school year or a new semester to begin — contact us and we will help you choose the right start date for your child.
8. What curriculum do you teach?
We teach an American curriculum in a fully digital learning environment, with interactive coursework, live class sessions (in the Online School Program), and collaborative learning. STEM is a core focus across our programs.
9. What STEM subjects and enrichment do you offer?
Our STEM and enrichment opportunities include robotics & engineering, coding & programming, artificial intelligence, and ag-tech & environmental science — plus leadership, entrepreneurship, digital arts, and career exploration. STEM kits are also available in the Homeschool Program.
10. Who teaches the classes?
Our faculty includes more than 60 certified teachers who are subject specialists, based regionally and across the United States and Europe. In the Homeschool Program, parents lead day-to-day learning, supported by certified support teachers and academic consultations.
11. How is my child’s progress tracked?
Progress tracking is built into both programs. The Online School Program includes progress and grade reports, attendance tracking, and academic counseling. The Homeschool Program includes progress tracking and academic consultations, so parents always know how their child is doing.
12. Who is Future Edge Academy a good fit for?
We welcome many kinds of learners, including gifted and advanced students, students with learning difficulties or SEND needs, students with social anxiety, students who have been bullied, students from moving or military families, and expat and international students. If your situation is different, contact us — we are happy to discuss fit honestly.
